Insiders

The Insiders indicator places Buy and Sell flags on the date bar, signalling an insider buy and an insider sell, respectively, and showing the last (adjustable) insider transactions.

Chart View

Significant are especially insider buy-ins. Sales can have a variety of reasons, such as a major acquisition. Buy ins usually mean that the company is undervalued from the insider's point of view or that the price will rise from the insider's point of view.

In addition to the last transactions in the list, the Insiders indicator also shows the last transactions on the date bar. Ownership in the list is shown as total numbers if < 1%, above that as a percentage of the total shares.

Filling an instrument list

Any instrument list can be filled with instruments that had an insider buy in the last 0-14 days, the list is first cleared, then all instruments to which the conditions apply are loaded by the indicator and transferred to the AT. For this, the indicator must be placed in the chart. The 4S indicator contains a visual guide.

Decisive for the filling process is only the setting Days and the specification of an instrument list.

Make sure that no 2 indicators fill the same list - this can lead to unwanted behaviour, as the indicator cleans the list to be filled beforehand.

Filtering an instrument list

The Insiders indicator can filter an existing instrument list, for example the previously loaded Younglings list for stocks that had an insider buy in during the last [0-14] days. The 4S indicator includes a visual guide.

Decisive for the filling process is only the setting Days and the specification of an instrument list.

Filtering adds or removes an instrument from a list depending on whether it meets the condition - it is best to filter into an empty list to get only instruments that actually meet the condition.

Settings

Colors

• Background Intensity [0-255]: How intense the set colors are

• Background Color [Color]: Background of the table (Default Gray)

• Text Color [Color]: color of the text (default Dark Slate Gray)

• Sell Color [Color]: Background of a negative cell / Sell Flag (Standard Coral)

• Date Color [Color]: Background of a date cell (Default Dark Gray)

• Ownership Color [Color]: Background of an ownership cell (Default Sky Blue)

List Preferences

• Instrument List [Name]: The set list is emptied and then filled if no list is set - the setting is ignored.

• Days[value]: Up to (maximum) how many days the Insider Buy in can be in the past.

Liegt der Indikator im Chart wird die eingestellte Liste geleert und anschließend befüllt, liegt der Indikator im Scanner werden nur Symbole die die Bedingung nicht erfüllen aus der eingestellten Liste entfernt, und falls die Bedingung erfüllt ist zur eingestellten Liste hinzugefügt.

Visual Preferences

• Last x Transactions [value]: Up to how many rows (transactions) should be displayed in the window.

Api-Key

• Api Key [Key]: Is empty if no api key has been set yet, if the api key has already been set in at least one indicator, all others adopt this key.

Return Values

• Last Transaction Action [Buy, Sell]: the last known insider action was a buy or sell

• Last Transaction Date [Date]: when the last action took place
